GROUP CLASS SCHEDULE

  • Tuesday 7-8 AM (Zoom): Meditation & Breathwork

    New to meditation and breathwork from Yoga Sciences? Shreejan will start with the basic practices, backed with a little science and a lot of inspiration. Meditation and breathe is the key to healing.

  • Wednesday 7-8 AM: Hatha Spine

    Stiff, weak, or just a concerned desk jockey, the Spine class is for anyone who wants sturdiness and strength for a lifetime.

  • Thursday 7-8 AM: Hatha Balance & Breath

    30 minutes balance work with chair assist and 30 minutes Pranayama (breathing exercises) to reconnect your mind with your center of gravity. Appropriate for anyone who can stand 30 minutes.

  • Friday 7-8 AM: Hatha For A Vibrant Thyroid

    Whether you are on medications, have had the thyroid removed, or are seeking a preventative protocol, this class will provide techniques helpful in keeping the 'dashboard' of your endocrine system balanced and happy.

  • Saturday 8-9 AM: Yoga 360

    3 protocols for beginners and those concerned with stiff joints, dysregulated G.I. and lack of energy. Take home protocols available after 3 classes.

  • Saturday 9-10 AM: Hatha Spine

The word Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root yuj meaning “to yoke: (unite, join)”. Yoga is an invaluable gift to humanity. It embodies the science and applications which seek to keep unified the mind, body and energy which animates each of us (prana). It can be considered the art and science of healthy living. The science encompasses thought and action, restraint & fulfillment, harmony between humans and each other and the environment. With consistent or prescriptive practice daily, it is a holistic approach to health and overall well-being used the world over.

Yoga is not a physical exercise so much as it is a method of discovering the sense of oneness without ourselves, the world around us, and Nature. By changing our lifestyle and creating a higher consciousness, yoga can help us to reduce our ill impacts on our health, the health of our family, society, and landscape.

The Yoga Shala is small and cozy, limited to 6 practitioners in person. Classes are now open to joining online as well!

Attend specific classes of your choice as your schedule allows, or subscribe for unlimited classes for a donation of $100/month.
